Rocío Thovar

Rocío Thovar holds the title of Graduate in Psychology (UOC, 2015), with Special Mention in Social Psychology, and a Master’s Degree on Citizenship and Human Rights: Ethics and Politics (UB, 2018). She is currently a PhD Candidate in Citizenship and Human Rights (UB), following the Bioethics and Applied Ethics itinerary. He works full-time with a predoctoral contract FPU (Training University Lecturer) – 2017 by the Ministry of Education – Spanish Government.
Her thesis project approaches the problematization of the treatment of animals promoted by the Animal Rights Movement, with the aim of studying the political action of this social movement and how Animal Ethics impacts on the public.
